Cycle Counts
Can be undertaken both manual as well as through computer
control. The idea behind cycle count is to eliminate
the year end farce of undertaking full inventory count. If
required we can undertake computerized inventory count where
data will be uploaded from a hand-held terminal.

Audits
And in hand with the cycle count we can undertake process

Value Added Services
Dynamic Logistics' expertise extends far beyond merely providing
warehousing and transportation services. A good majority of our work
for
clients involves value-added services such as:
-
Labeling / Bar-coding
-
Putaway
Also refers as binning in the warehousing parlance. It is the
starting line of warehouse activity. When an item is correctly
planographed and binned, it means 100% correct accuracy in stock,
picking and less trouble during inventory count. We at Dynamic
Logistics understand the need of this activity hence developed
system capable of providing accurate information on the putaway
activity.
-
Picking / Packing
If picking is the value-generating department then packing materializes
these values. Picking can be divided into assignments, zones or
picker wise. To make picking more accurate ensure that pick lists
are generated in batches which are easier to pick. Ensure that
items, which are not in stock, are not reflecting in the pick
list. Use of bar coded pick assignments greatly enhances
pick time and allows faster inventory turnaround time. To ensure
all picked items move in a shortest possible time from the warehouse,
designing the shipping cartons as per the market requirement is
critical. Packing needs to consider the type of part that needs
to be packed. Expected intransit hazards, handling of items both
inland as well as in transit. Destination marking on the cartons
needs to be correct for package handling.
-
Kitting / Dekitting
Both for the inbound operation as well as for the after sales
market some parts are sold in kit form. For the inbound it reduces
the number of vehicle coming to the factory gate as well as large
number of documentation. In kitting large number of components
are assembled and sent to the Assembly line. This process reduces
the production time as well as manpower cost which otherwise is
required for the kitting purpose. Dynamic Logistics has the expertise
to undertake kitting and Dekitting for clients.
-
Shrink Wrapping
Some products and parts are stored for long time due to several
factors like seasonal consumption, import restrictions, slower
movement, use of vertical storage space. Shrink-wrapping
helps in keeping the product dust free. It also holds parts,
boxes together in case of vertical storage on an open pallet.
